Africa’s Best 350 LTD (“AB350”) kicked off operations in March 2008 to provide rural commuter bus transport services primarily in the municipal districts of the former Transkei. AB350 renders a sustainable, safe, reliable and timeous public transport service. AB350 has experienced sustainable and phenomenal growth to 185 65-seater fleet of busses. AB350 employs 461 permanent staff and attained unqualified audit reports for the past 5 years.

Mr Hintsa, the founding Executive Chairman has been influential in leading Small Bus Operator transformation and fostering value relationships with provincial taxi operators, provincial Small Bus Operators and National Small Bus Operators culminating in the formal launch of SANSBOC (“South African National Small Bus Operator Council”) endorsed by the National Department of Transport. This is a distinctive and demonstrable success of the first 100% truly Broad Based black owned and black managed negotiated commuter subsidy contract bus operator in South Africa.
